Jerusalem Council Report - Vermont/New Hampshire

LOCATION: First Baptist Church of Lebanon, New Hampshire

HOST:  Minster's Council ABC-VNH

FACILITATORS:  Rev. James Scott and Rev. George Daniels

PARTICIPANTS:  71 people representing 61 church and ABC-VNH Staff

OBSERVATIONS: Our day began with prayer and worship and moved into our facilitators explaining the  guidelines for our time together.

  We then spent time in a lectio divina reflection of Acts 15 passage with questions or comments directed to God. It was a time of looking deeply into the Scriptures and allowing the Holy Spirit to Speak to us.

   Following lunch individuals were given the opportunity to present two-minute personal statements or testimonies.

   The day concluded with seeking answers concerning this issue and statements to the senators, and what the future might look like.

    We concluded our time together with a short worship time.
