Introduction
The making of public vows serves to highlight the importance of ordination, both to the candidate and to the ordaining church.
These vows speak of the covenant that has already been made in the heart of the ordination candidate, just as marriage vows declare the commitment made in the hearts of the couple getting married. Together, let us witness these vows made in God’s redeeming presence.
