Dear Constituent Council Colleague:
It is my pleasure to greet you on behalf of the Membership & Constituent Committee of the Ministers Council!
During our recent Senate 2007 meeting held at the Green Lake Conference Center/American Baptist Assembly, our committee worked on a plan to develop a promotional packet for the Ministers Council, one that would have several pieces for both national and local constituent council use. Our purpose as a committee is to recruit and sustain members, and we believe that these resources will help the Ministers Council and you to do the same in your local council.
Attached you will find a questionnaire we circulated among your Senators. It requests vital information that will help our team to create a brochure, PowerPoint presentation, bookmark, media clip, flyer, and perhaps some other pieces. Most of the Senators returned their copies, but we would also like to hear from others in your council. We ask that you take a few minutes to read and think, complete it, and mail it back. If you consider that someone else from your local council should also reply, please feel free to have him/her fill out a copy. Susan Panek Pelozzi will be collecting the questionnaires and collating your responses. You can e-mail the questionnaire back to Susan or mail it to her address below, by Sept. 15, 2007.
